* Update...
Managed to get the side and front sections together...
Just used some scrap wood to support it on the sides even thou I did do the 2inch tape and glue again... And then left it to set and the next morning I ran over the join lines again with some more glue and left again to set...

Sorry, I'm not super familiar with this car. What is the function of this piece?

Small Update...
Once set I did another layer of glue along all the joins and let it set, flipped it around and did the same on the outer edges after removing the 2inch tape. Did a quick layer of resin to pull into the wood to seal it before the fiberglass gets applied...

Re: ** WAR's "Black Tank" Tumbler Build **
Hi all...
So update time...
Past few months have had its ups and downs... And we still standing and going strong...
SO...
As for my build, about 2 weeks ago I met up with my mates that have their own CNC Plasma cutters again to go over a few things for the main brackets and hinges on the frame.
And Then I was back again on Monday to go thru the cutting list and files...
But then I came home confused and brain running wild again...
THEN...
I have decided (after a few lengthy chats) that I will basically be starting my build from scratch...
Yeah that's right, I will be going for a full metal build and have arranged with my mates that they will cut everything for me..
And with the arrangement that we came to, it will cost me less doing it out of steel compared to the fiberglass route but the other main reason is the time it takes to get one parts done in wood / fiberglass compared to the steel.
Now that does mean that all my other prep work was seen as a learning curb and that I will keep those parts one side and decide at a later stage what to do with them...
They will assist me with a few "off-cut" pieces of steel for some of the brackets so that way I can avoid having to buy full sheets of steel...
And we will start with the first few cuts / pieces next month.
Eager to get started on the new steel setup, but still need to clear out a few things in my garage after all the previous drama I have it just became a storeroom...
But now very good reason to get everything out and cleared...
