While I spend hours poring over past Tumbler build threads, I thought it would be fun to show how far they have come. This is the last progress that I've come across but who knows? Maybe some of them have been completed or at least continued.
In no particular order...
Starting with the OG, built by a team lead by movie car engineers Chris Corbould and Andy Smith.

This pretty much sums up my own build.
Besides a collection of parts, my Fumbler build (Fiero based Tumbler) didn't get very far. Hopefully that will change very soon.

Compared to my own build, War Machine is going like a bat out of hell! He's fabricating afterburners and wings and showing us how he does it with class.

gez1967 in the UK was recording one of the most amazing Tumbler builds. A talented movie prop builder, he actually acquired screen used tumbler wheels.
He always seems good for a laugh. Last we knew, he was getting the front suspension and steering assembled. I hope that he continues his build and someday shows us the progress.

Towman's build is another with some fantastic progress. Just a few parts away from being drivable, or is it already capable of doing donuts this winter?

Fedicane (Dustin) had just reached the test drive phase when he was uprooted to Japan for the military. Thank you for your service, we hope you are doing well.

kingkyle had made some good progress and was trying to figure out how to eliminate the V drive and squeeze a traditionally mounted engine and transmission behind the firewall.

Kickass thread.
I remember few of these. Time flew by. When CLTC first started there was no new YouTube Facebook or any SNS.
A new picture of 1989 batmobile was worth a lot of posts and discussions. Now everything is available at your finger tips.

Yes! Vertigo is definitely one of the very top contributors of Batmobile building technique and info. He's nothing if not organized (see the shelf in the background as an example).
His build is one of the few that has actually made it to the body panel stage.
