Thanks! I planned to sell it in the spring but it was too original and everyone who looked at it complained about the old window and door seals and the paint was old, etc. So I decided to fix everything, and convert it to a Bandit replica.
Hundreds of hours later, I kinda wish that I had spent the time working on a Bat car. At least I can drive this one, but I would rather be driving a Batmobile.

Car looks very nice man...
Cant wait to see more of your bat build progress...
Ive also had the same thoughts about things I needed to do and sort out on my side...
But at the end of the day, its one thing done and off your list, now you can get back to the Bat Build...

The good news is that the Trans Am is sold and waiting for a transport to California. Garage space!
Next is insulating, drywall and installing the gas heater.
But the real news is that I’ve made the difficult decision to switch to a completely scratch built frame. Fiero’s have been a fun base to use with other replicas but I would have to chop so much off of the Fiero space frame, there wouldn’t be much left.
I will still use it for parts like HVAC ducting, wiring harness, etc. Not all is lost

It’s nearly time to buy some steel.

The Trans Am finally left on a car hauler headed for California.
The insulation & drywall is nearly finished. The garage heater will be installed by the end of the week.
Tomorrow I’m picking up some important parts. The real building is about to begin.
