Ok so update...
After I cleaned up the new foam sections and cut the fiberglass for all the wings.
I spent some time with the router table and looking for a bit to shape out the back end sections of the wings that I need to mount the pipe section into...
So I did not have one big enough to run them thru once so I improvised and had to run them thru 3 times...
Basically, Once for the left section, then adjust and move to the right section, then adjust up and do a run in the middle...
And it worked... Although you can see its not a perfect radius, it will do...
Then started to fiberglass the other side's 2 layers...
And then all done...
Now to leave them to dry...
And with cutting them to size, you can see there is almost no excess hanging over the edges to clean up...
Although thinking about it now, If anyone wants to do it this way, I would say there is no need to do the foam sections in them.
They are light enough in just the solid wood form and the foam method basically just wasted a bit of time and money...
But lesson learned and noted...

Hey guys & gals...
Been a while but hey what a journey too...
SO...
In the last few months I had a few issues to deal with (as we all do) and life has to go on...
In a span of about 5 months, my uncle passed away,
the engine in my pickup hit a rod thru the block,
my phone decided it had enough as well as my laptop,
My bike also decided to have a few issues,
I got retrenched 2 months back,
and the final paperwork was submitted for the divorce...
But no issue, we get up again and move on... Slowly but surely...
But there is a little good news in all the chaos...
I met a guy that has his own business with a CNC Plasma cutter and is willing to cut all the panels for me if I supply all the steel...
So ive been doing some work on that...
But I will do a full update in the next week or so and get back to my build...

Sorry to hear man.
But in the end we all gotta do what we gotta do and the attitude we express and mindset we have makes a big difference...
So dont let things get you down too much, be positive and push forward...

Sorry that it's been such a downer! It's tough to focus on projects when you already have so much on your plate.
Nice find! Friends with expensive tools are invaluable. It's great when you meet the perfect person to help make your life easier.

Yeah and for the moment we just prioritize what is needed first and then when things are chilled again we get back to the projects...
But as long as we dont stop...

Just read through this entire thread. Wow, I didn't realize how long I had been away! You have done some fabulous work here my friend. Looking forward to reading more of your continuing build.
Speaking of continuing builds, like you my time has been restricted because of "real life". But I have made some small progress on the DOJ that I hope to post soon. Personally, I think having this board helps keep us going. I really don't care for Facebook.
