Wow! I am glad I found this update I literally just fired up my profile on the old site and then saw the post that it was closed down...I hope I can touch base with the lot of you, it has been a dream to build the 89 Batmobile since the movie came out when I was a kid and it might finally happen...I should be able to get the body kit by this coming summer....I'm no mechanic so this forum may come in handy as I begin this adventure.

Not sure if this was a response to my post...but I am getting a server error for the other site now, I'll check again later of course maybe it was my end...but I can't wait to get started. I'm really interested in the tube frame I saw a few pics of...I'd be interested in hearing opinions on the crafting of a frame from scratch versus altering a pre-existing car to make it fit the body.

Yea, I get the same sometimes while looking through the old posts there. Waiting a few minutes seems to clear things up. It's annoying, but worth the wait.

We can’t promise but we’re working to move all of CLTC posts to here or another forum for archive use.

Old CLTC forum is heavily attacked by spam bots that’s why it keeps going down every now and then.

I think I pushed site first online in 2003/4 January so it’s going to live beyond 20 years.

Great to know...I can't wait to get started...has anyone built out a street legal version of this car on this forum yet? Or does anyone have sort of a checklist of parts and vendors to look into?
